Stearns County Crash Injures Theresa Sandvig and One Other on Highway 71

On Monday, March 31st, 2025, a collision involving three vehicles occurred at 6:30 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 71 and Greencrest Road, close to Belgrade in Stearns County, as reported by the Minnesota State Patrol. A Chevrolet Equinox, traveling south on Highway 71, collided with a GMC Canyon and a semitruck, resulting in injuries to two individuals. The driver of the GMC Canyon, Theresa Sandvig, 51, of Belgrade, was transported to Paynesville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the Chevrolet’s driver, Brian Rademacher, 29, of Belgrade, was taken to Sauk Centre Hospital, also with non-life-threatening injuries.

The semitruck driver, Ronald Robinson, 65, of Belgrade, sustained no injuries in the incident. All individuals involved were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash. The response effort included the Belgrade-Brooten Police Department, Belgrade Fire and Rescue, CentraCare Ambulance, and Brooten Ambulance, alongside the Minnesota State Patrol, to manage the scene and provide medical assistance.
