Multi-Vehicle Crash in Park Rapids, Minnesota Injures Two, No Fatalities Reported
On March 17, 2025, at approximately 1:47 PM, a multi-vehicle crash occurred at the intersection of Hwy 34 and Henrietta Ave N in Park Rapids, Hubbard County. The incident involved three vehicles: a 2006 GMC Yukon, a 2020 Subaru Forester, and a 2023 Ford Maverick Pickup. According to the crash report, the GMC Yukon, driven by 45-year-old Nicholas Allen Randall of Park Rapids, was northbound on CR 6 when it was rear-ended by the Subaru Forester, driven by 77-year-old Gayle Karen Monson of Nevis. The Subaru Forester then continued northbound and collided with the Ford Maverick Pickup, driven by 71-year-old Georgeann Frances Gereszek of Park Rapids, which was eastbound on Hwy 34 and had a green light.
Two individuals sustained non-life-threatening injuries: Gayle Karen Monson and Georgeann Frances Gereszek, both of whom were transported to St. Joseph Hospital in Park Rapids. Nicholas Allen Randall reported no injuries. All drivers were wearing seat belts, and no alcohol was involved in the incident. The road conditions were dry at the time of the crash, and airbags deployed in both the Subaru Forester and the Ford Maverick Pickup. The Hubbard County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
