Jeffery Terrell Dies in Head-On Collision Near Custer City, Oklahoma

On March 28, 2025, at approximately 3:56 p.m., a fatal head-on collision occurred on Highway 33 near East 920 Road, approximately two miles west of Custer City, Oklahoma. Jeffery D. Terrell, 51, of Custer City, was driving a 2019 Ram 1500 northbound when a southbound 2019 Chrysler 300, driven by Monica N. Martinez, 42, of Clinton, veered left of center and struck his vehicle. Both drivers were ejected from their vehicles and pronounced dead at the scene. Neither driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
