Amanda Arrington Among Four Killed in Fatal Troup County Crash
On Sunday, March 16, 2025, a devastating car accident occurred in Troup County, Georgia, resulting in the deaths of four individuals, including 32-year-old Amanda Arrington. The Georgia State Patrol reports that the collision took place shortly after midnight at the intersection of GA-1 and Wares Cross Road. A Nissan Altima, traveling west on Wares Cross Road, disregarded a red light and was struck on its left side by a northbound GMC Sierra 2500. The force of the impact caused the Nissan to spin multiple times, ejecting a backseat passenger who was not wearing a seat belt.
The four occupants of the Nissan—identified as 25-year-old Caleb Bonds, 23-year-old Zanquavious Swint, 32-year-old Amanda Arrington, and 33-year-old James Palmer—tragically lost their lives at the scene. The driver of the GMC Sierra sustained serious injuries and was promptly transported to WellStar West Georgia Medical Center for treatment. The Troup County Coroner has released the victims’ names, and authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this fatal crash.
